Michael Gage Thigpen, 20, of Wrightsville passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Gage was born July 17, 2002, in Dublin to Wayne Thigpen and Lisa Thigpen. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Claude and Jackie Thigpen; maternal grandfather, Freddie Smith; uncle, Kenny Smith. Gage loved watching NBA, going fishing, listening to music, and shooting basketball and any gun he got a hold of. Every door he walked through, he either slammed it or took it down completely. He would give his shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. One of his favorite things in life was working with his dad. Gage was a big family man. More than anything, he loved his daughter, Alana.
He is survived by his daughter, Alana Thigpen of Wrightsville; parents, Wayne and Lisa Thigpen of Wrightsville; significant other, Angel Wilkerson of Wrightsville; brother, Cody Scott of Swainsboro; sisters, Delacy Jackson and Hannah Thigpen, both of Wrightsville; maternal grandmother, Jackie Evans of Wrightsville; grandmother of his daughter, Jessie Sconyers; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
