Michael Paul Thompson

Mr. Michael Paul Thompson, 44, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at his residence following a brief illness.

Mr. Thompson was born July 22, 1977, in Swainsboro to Claude Thompson and Laurie Wilkerson Williamson Hall. He was preceded in death by his mother; son, Elijah Thompson; brother, Cal Alvin Thompson.

He is survived by his son, Cal Thompson of Swainsboro; daughter, Makayla Thompson of Swainsboro; father, Claude Thompson (Janice) of Riddleville; brothers, B. J. Thompson (Holly) of Sandersville, Billy Williamson (Kimberly) of Oak Park, Alvin Williamson (Jamie) of Soperton, Chad Wheeler (Adrian) of Warner Robins; sister, Sherri McKiney (Rob) of East Dublin; mother of children, Brandy Hadden of Bartow; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2022, at Minton’s Chapel Advent Christian Church in Kite with Mr. Curt Grimm officiating.

Interment will follow in Minton’s Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Richard Daniels, Cody Driggers, Mike Braswell, Chris Fowler, Isaac Brown, and Brad Thompson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be members of A. A.
