Mr. Michael Cameron Braswell, 28, of Swainsboro, passed away in his sleep in the early morning hours of Saturday, September 10, 2022.
Cameron was born July 21, 1994, in Savannah to Mike and Linda Kirby Braswell. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Hugh Braswell; maternal grandfather, E.A. “Rabbit” Kirby; beloved dog, Riley. He graduated from Swainsboro High School in 2012. Cameron received his CDL certification from Southeastern Technical College in 2018 and worked in logistics. In 2019, Cameron proposed to Jordan, and they were married in a beautiful ceremony on October 10, 2020. After an ocular stroke in 2020, Cameron worked at Berni’s on Main, where he was able to do something he loved - show his talents in culinary magic. In his free time, Cameron loved to spend time with his wife, Jordan, and their two fur babies, Dottie and Remi. If the sun was out and he wasn’t working, there was a good chance you could find him on the creek bank with a fishing pole. In most recent years, Cameron put an emphasis on his family and the time he spent with them. Every Wednesday night, he and Jordan reserved for Braswell Family Dinners. Cameron loved them deeply.
Survivors include his wife, Jordan and Baby Braswell of Swainsboro; parents, Mike and Linda Braswell of Swainsboro; sister, Kirbi Lamb, and brother-in-law, Russ, and their two sons, Finn and Reed; sister, Kelli Mendieta, and brother-in-law, Gray, and their two daughters, Rowyn and Aspen; maternal grandmother, Mary Kirby; paternal grandmother, Iris Braswell; parents-in-law, Jimmy and Michelle Mercer Millsaps; brother-in-law, Mitchell Whorley, and his wife, Shalyn; sister-in-law, Lizzie Millsaps, and her boyfriend, Bailey Sause; an uncle, several aunts, cousins, and many friends.
