Ms. Queen Harper, 81, of Swainsboro passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at her residence following an extended illness.
Ms. Harper was born September 13, 1939, in Americus to the late Mack Harper and Eula Mae Henderson Harper. She was preceded in death by her parents. Ms. Harper enjoyed cooking, being with her children, and serving God. She was always a person to guide and comfort those in need.
Survivors include her son, Larry (Zelda) Lockhart of Swainsboro; daughter, Aldene Lockhart (Bennie Victor) of Vineland, NJ; brothers, Arthur Harper, James Lewis, Charles Lewis, Jessie Lewis; 7 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday July 13, 2021, at Chapman Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be July 23, 2021, at Union Temple Baptist Church in Bridgeton, NJ with Reverend Brown officiating.
Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Bridgeton, NJ.
