Robin Lynn McGee

Mrs. Robin Lynn McGee, 57, of Swainsboro passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 at Pruitt Health of Swainsboro following an extended illness.

Mrs. McGee was born June 26, 1962 in Buffalo, NY. to George Gehring and JoAnn Gehring. She graduated

in 1980 from Deltona High School in Deltona, Florida.  Mrs. McGee began working for Keller Ladders Florida location in the early 80’s, she accepted a transfer to the Swainsboro location.  This is where she met her husband.  They had a son, which was the apple of her eye.  Mrs. McGee always had a positive attitude and helped everyone. No one ever had anything bad to say about Robin, she tried to love everyone and find the best in everyone. Mrs. McGee was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Teddy McGee of Swainsboro; parents, George and JoAnn Gehring of St. Marys; son, Daren McGee (Megan) of Swainsboro; daughter, Jennifer Cannady (Lenny Pasquale) of Swainsboro; brother, Mark Gehring (Lori) of Ft. Lauderdale; grandchildren, Tayler Rountree (Bubba), Tyler Canady, Brylee Lanier and Jaxin McGee; great-grandson, Kace Rountree; several nieces, nephews and many friends. 

Funeral Services will be Thursday, June 4, 2020 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Reverends Jonathan Shepard and Brad McKenzie officiating.

Burial will follow in the Holton Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Nick Brown, Kenny Brown, Larry Hall, Charlie Lanier, John McGee, Randall Williford, Allen Farley and Christopher Gehring.

Honorary Pallbearers are the Swainsboro Jaycees.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Chapman Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, 6 feet rule will be enforced during viewing and service.
