Mr. Ronnie Lee Watson, 63, of Swainsboro passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin following an extended illness.
Mr. Watson was born February 14, 1959, in Swainsboro to Purvis Watson and Lillie Williams Watson. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty Watson. Mr. Watson was always respectful and always wanted to take care of everyone. He loved Atlanta Falcons, fishing, and spending time with his family. Mr. Watson was retired from the U. S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Watson of Swainsboro; children, Sada Watson and Ronnie “Jaquez” Watson, Jr. (Kasheema), both of Swainsboro, Yasmin Watson of Sandersville, Tybee Haddock of Idaho, Trey Somerville and Justice Somerville, both of Swainsboro; brother, James Watson (Ann) of Swainsboro; sister, Hattie Parker (Willie) of Swainsboro; 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held 12 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2022, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Armstrong officiating.
Interment will follow in Swainsboro City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Mr. Watson’s nephews.
