Rosie Mae Carswell

Mrs. Rosie Mae Carswell, 54, of Swainsboro passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Emanuel Medical Center in Swainsboro, GA following a brief illness.     

Mrs. Carswell was born July 24, 1967, in Swainsboro, Ga to Eddie Carswell and Julia Mae Hughes Carswell.  She is preceded in death by her father; son, Kenneth Moore Jr.; brother, Joseph Carswell. 

Survivors include her mother, Julia Mae Carswell of Swainsboro; Companion, Kenneth Moore Sr.; sons, Wesley Moore, Jimmie Carswell, Zytavious Moore all of Swainsboro, Jarvis Moore of Lyons, Dashon Moore of Swainsboro; daughter, Zyravious Moore of Swainsboro; brothers, Jimmie Carswell of Atlanta, Ed Carswell of Swainsboro, Dock (Angela) Carswell of Swainsboro, Eddie Carswell of Sylvania, John Carswell of Washington DC; sisters, Betty King of Twin City, Annie (London) Hill of Swainsboro, Mary (Michael) Oglesby of Garfield, Tarra Carswell of Swainsboro, Julia Carswell of Swainsboro, Brenda Mack of Millen, LaShonda Waters of Sylvania, Frankie Carswell of Statesboro, Joann King of Swainsboro; 24 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends. 

Funeral Services will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021, in the Swainsboro City auditorium.

Interment will follow in the Swainsboro City Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday September 3, 2021 at Chapman Funeral Home.
