Obituary

Mr. Roy Brantley Frady, 79, of Wrightsville passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Frady was born December 17, 1941 in Wrightsville, GA. to the late Thomas Carl Frady and Addie Johnson Frady.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, A.J. Frady, and Alvin Horton; sisters, Loree Price, and Sybil Mizell. Roy was a simple man who led a simple life. He was a devoted husband and father and his favorite times were those when he was surrounded by his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He spent most of his years behind the steering wheel of a truck and was well respected in the trucking community.  He never met a stranger and was always willing to help someone out whether he knew them or not.  He was a bit of a prankster who always enjoyed laughing with family and friends.  He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Lynn Frady of Wrightsville; sons, Tommy Frady and Jeff Frady both of Wrightsville; daughters, Rhonda Marshall, and Debbie (Kevin) Joiner both of Wrightsville; grandchildren, Lee Marshall, Keeli Joiner, Kaci Joiner, and Keri Joiner; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Marshall and Emilee Roberson, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
