Shane Matthew Estes

Mr. Shane Matthew Estes, 40, of Swainsboro passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023.

Mr. Estes was born October 27, 1982, in Modesto, California (and he was awfully proud of that!) to the late Ronald Wayne Estes and Carolyn Marie Spyres Estes. He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Wayne Estes and brother, Brian Estes.

He was an engineer with Union 474 as a crane operator. No one could cut his grass but him, he enjoyed his time playing PlayStation five with his Australian friends. He loved life, joking and cutting up. And by the way, no one touched his truck! Most loved by him was Jesus first, Amy second, and Sara, Nate, and Jonah.

He is survived by wife, Amy Elizabeth Estes; children, Sara Paige Estes, Nathan Ross “Nate” Estes, and Jonah Abraham Estes; mother, Carolyn Marie Spyres Estes; brother, Brent Eugene Estes; sister in law, Erin (Kyle) White Beach, but in his heart she was always his sister; nieces and nephews, Courtney Estes, Brice Estes, Grace Beach, and Magnolia Jo Beach.

Memorial Service will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, September 10, 2023, in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Pastor Erin Beach. Masonic rights will be observed at service. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
