Sharon P. Wright

Ms. Sharon P. Wright, 58, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Community Hospice following an extended illness.  

Ms. Wright was born September 7, 1962 in Augusta, GA to William Wright and Carol Wright. Sharon enjoyed serving faithfully for The Lord and was a member of Emanuel Christian Ministries. She enjoyed going to church, baking, singing, going to the beach, and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and friends. Sharon’s smile would always light up the room and she was the most selfless person you would ever meet. No matter what life threw at her she always handled her situations with a positive attitude and trusted in The Lord.

Survivors include her father; William Wright of Aiken, SC; mother, Carol Wright of Hephzibah; daughter, Shanda (Mark) Hall of Swainsboro; brothers, Craig Wright of Savannah, GA and Waylin Wright of Cumming, GA; sisters, Felicia Padgett (Robert) of Hephzibah, Angel Irwin of Cumming, GA, Whittni Hiscox (Mark) of Savannah, GA; grandchildren, Ashlyn Hall, Brogen Hall, Easton Hall; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Emanuel Christian Ministries with Reverends Thomas Simmons and Brad McKenzie officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Emanuel Christian Ministries.

In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, 6 feet rule will be enforced during visitation and service.
