Mrs. Sherbie Jean Culbreth, 74, of Twin City passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Emanuel Medical Center in Swainsboro following a brief illness.
Mrs. Culbreth was born July 5, 1947, in Statesboro to the late Samuel Lee Jones and Ollie Mae Lee Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John Jones, Sr., Gartrell Jones Charles Jones, George W. Jones, Roosevelt Jones; sister, Elle Mae Moody; daughters, Pamela Culbreth, Gloria Daniels, Willene Williams; sons, Otis Culbreth, John Culbreth. Mrs. Culbreth enjoyed cooking and sewing. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Word of Life Ministries.
Survivors include her sons, Naymon (Shirley) Culbreth, Jr. of Statesboro, Andrew (Lakesha) Culbreth of Twin City; daughters, JoAnn Bell and Sherlyn (Donald) Brown, both of Twin City; brother, Lonnie (Betty) Jones of Portal; sisters, Earnestine (Walter) Smith of Portal, Darlene Jones and Cynthia Jones, both of Statesboro; 9 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Graveside Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Swainsboro City Cemetery with Reverend Jonathan Hampton officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
