Mrs. Sherry Lynn Perry, 52, of Swainsboro passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at Candler County Hospital following an extended illness.
Mrs. Perry was born December 7, 1968, in Swainsboro to Johnny Ray Brinson and Judy Logan Chapman. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Ray Brinson; husband, Robert Perry; stepfather, Robert Chapman. Ms. Perry enjoyed reading, bird watching and going to the beach. She loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren and she loved the Lord. Ms. Perry was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her mother, Judy Chapman of Swainsboro; sons, Matthew (Kelly) Lane of Garfield, Kyle (Krista) Perry of Temple TX, MacGyver (Emillie) Perry of Tallahassee, FL; daughter, Heather (Randy) Sapp of Claxton; brothers, Johnny Brinson of Arkansas, Jason Brinson of Swainsboro; sisters, Missie (Gene) Hadden of Kemp, Mandy Carter of Swainsboro, Bobbie (Jim) Sherrod of Midville, Tasha Brinson of Winder, Melinda Brinson of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Hunter Lane, Mason Lane, Cayden Lane, Jaxon Sapp, Logan Sapp, M.J. Perry, Rayne Perry, Dawson Perry, Mattie Perry, Emma Perry; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2021, in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Elder Tommy Rountree officiating.
Interment will follow at Eastbrook Cemetery & Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Chase Sherrod, Zach Sherrod, Jim Sherrod, Gene Hadden, Trent Lewis and George Carter.
