Mrs. Stephanie Marie Roundtree, age 31, died peacefully Knowing heaven was her destination when leaving earth on March 20, 2021 at 3:38 pm.
Stephanie was born January 27, 1990 in New York, at the age of 4 she was brought to Georgia and soon resided in Oak Park and raised her son there. She is preceded in death by her grandfather and grandmother George and Gloria Breese both of New York, grandfather Charles Culbertson, father, Buddy Collins and brother Eddie Collins.
Stephanie graduated high school in 2008 at Swainsboro High School and attended college at Southeastern Technical College where she studied criminal justice in 2009, she also received grants from SGT. James L. Jordon memorial scholarship.
Stephanie started with volunteering for the Oak Park fire department at the age of 18. She soon became a certified first responder and stayed on at the fire department for many years serving the community she lived in. While volunteering she worked at Savannah Luggage for many years in the Swainsboro and Vidalia plant before leaving there to work with her father at 5 points store in Oak Park for a couple years before leaving. She really enjoyed the time spent with her Daddy. She then started working at Jerry Blaxton Wrecker Towing and Recovery which quickly turned into something she wanted to make a career out of. Jerry taught her the ways of the trade and how to operate all the wreckers for best business as possible. She also managed all of Jerry’s office work. Jerry was a great boss man and a good friend. She worked at Jerry Blaxton Wrecker until the day of his departure on February 13, 2020.
Stephanie is survived by her only child Trevor Roundtree who was her whole world, mother Trina Collins, sister Trisha Breese (Shannon), nieces and nephew, Kendra, Chris, and Nateille, brother, Jeremy Breese, aunt Lisa and several other aunts and uncles, mother and father-in-law Mellisa and A.J. Robertson, father of her son, Justin Roundtree.
Memorial Service will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2021 in the chapel at Chapman Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Wilson officiating.
In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, 6 feet rule will be enforced during service.
