Mr. Steve Wilcher, 54, of Midville passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at his residence following a extended illness.
Mr. Wilcher was born January 3, 1966 in Swainsboro to the late Ray Wilcher and Martha Hadden Wilcher. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Wilcher was a certified welder but followed in his father’s footsteps and obtained his CDL license. He drove for several different truck companies and had his own truck. Mr. Wilcher loved playing music. He loved spending time with family and friends. Mr. Wilcher loved helping people that fell on hard times whether it was in the form of his time or gathering his friends and family together for a cause. He was a member of Hines Baptist Church and attended Deep Creek Church whenever he was able.
Survivors include his son, Jeremy (Amanda) Wilcher of Midville; daughter, Toni Wilcher of Savannah; brothers, Charles (Rhonda) Wilcher of Twin City and David (Demaris) Cullen of St. Mary’s; sister, Tammy Marsh of Midville; grandchildren, Bradley Wilcher, Joshua Wilcher, Bryson Rogers and Riley Duffy; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Graveside Memorial Service will be Friday, May 22, 2020 3 p.m. at Hines Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Butch Taylor officiating.
