Teresa Hargraves Edenfield

Mrs. Teresa Hargraves Edenfield, 64, of Swainsboro, GA. passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Edenfield was born June 19, 1954 in St. Marys, Georgia to the late James Ralph Hargraves and Charlotte Ann Rushing Hargraves. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jack Edenfield. Mrs. Edenfield worked at Walmart for over 10 years. She enjoyed fishing, going down to the coast and net casting and farm animals. Mrs. Edenfield loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Mt. Shady Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Jamie Edenfield (Lisa) of Swainsboro; daughters, Kristi Stevens (Glenn) of Swainsboro and Melissa Peebles (Jeff) of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Jonathan Stevens (Angel) Josi Collins (Ned), Brianna Edenfield, Blake Edenfield, Austin Peebles (Cearra), Sierra Peebles (Matt); great-grandchildren, Lora-layne Edenfield, Daylen Peebles, Claira Peebles, Charlotte Peebles; step-grandchildren, Mandi Fisher, Al Fisher (Brandi); step great-grandchild, Tilly Fisher; several cousins.

Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2019 with Rev. Curt Grimm officiating. Pallbearers are Ronnie Youmans, Brent Youmans, Mark Snellgrove, Brandon Kight, Lance Edenfield, and Brad Grimm.

Interment will follow at Mt. Shady Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Chapman Funeral Home.
