Ms. Verdean Annette Burns, 79, of Swainsboro passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Emanuel Medical Center, following an extended illness.

Ms. Burns was born October 17, 1943, in Bainbridge, GA to Eugene Burns and Rebecca Ellis Burns. She was preceded in death by her parents. Ms. Burns was a high school graduate who was a homemaker. She enjoyed visiting with her family and friends.

Survivors include her sons, Jamal Milner (Shonda) of Moore, South Carolina, Larry Milner of Atlanta, GA, David Milner (Brenda) of Atlanta, GA and James Milner of Kingston, New York; daughters, Regina Gantt of Macon, GA, Angela Milner of Kansas City, MO, and Patricia Kinsey (Leonard) of Atlanta, GA; 11 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
