Mrs. Vickie Ann Wiggins Pullen, 72, of Adrian, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at her home, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Pullen was born August 25, 1951 to Cordie Wiggins and Dora Mae Riner Wiggins. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Shirley Coleman, Catherine Kirby, Dollie Mitchell, and Jeanette Kirkland. Mrs. Pullen retired from the Emanuel County Board of Education as the lunch room manager. She loved cooking and helping others in need. Mrs. Pullen attended East Georgia College where she studied in business. She was a member of Norristown Missionary Baptist Church for 23 years.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald Pullen; sons, Dennis (Alisha) Pullen of Adrian, Wayne (Victoria) Pullen of Kite; brothers, Corbin (Teresa) Wiggins, Riner Wiggins, Joe (Leslie) Wiggins, all of Swainsboro, Buster (Edna) Wiggins of Oak Park; sisters, Evelyn McNure of Twin City, Susan Cox of Social Circle, Dora (Bobby) Gunn of Swainsboro, Pati (Bob) Radford of Adrian; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral Services will be Friday, September 22, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Louis Pearce officiating, assisted by Reverend Adam Butler.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 22, 2023 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in the Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Shannon Boula officiating the committal service.
Pallbearers are Wesley Snellgrove, Darrell McNure, Jeff Wilkerson, Rod Wiggins, Matt Wiggins, and Mark Kirby.
