Mr. Walter Graham, Jr., 79, of Swainsboro passed away Friday, June 25, 2021, at his residence following a brief illness.
Mr. Graham was born September 19, 1941 in Laurens County to the late Walter Graham, Sr. and M. E. Hargroves Graham. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ellen Allen Graham, sister, Crick Graham; brother-in-law, Tommy Hooks. Mr. Graham loved fishing and visiting the mountains. He also enjoyed cutting grass, specifically his daughter’s lawn. Mr. Graham was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, David (Mellissa) Graham of Twin City; daughters, Diane (Randall) Williford, Debra (Larry) Hall, and Donna Graham all of Swainsboro; brother, Freddie Graham of Swainsboro; sisters, Ann (Tommy) Johnson, Gene Hooks both of Millen, and Joan Wyne of Rome; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 28, 2021, at Southside Baptist Church with Reverend Earl Warnock and Reverend Brad McKenzie officiating.
Interment will follow at Eastbrook Cemetery & Mausoleum.
Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Rodney Sellers, Jase Graham, Nicholas Brown, and Dewayne Williford.
