Was so deeply saddened to hear about Steve and your dads passing away recently... I will always cherish my memories of the good times we all had going to Swainsboro back in what seems like so many years ago!! Karleen and I will continue to have you and your family in our thoughts and prayers in the coming days,

Mary Ann, I am quite sure you probably won't remember me. It has been so long but we worked together at Ft Gordon, Georgia. I can't rember, but think 70's or 80's in the OVERSEAS LEVY SECTION Military Personnel Office, DPCA. We had such an
unpleasant job of notification and processing soldiers for overseas. I heard you had moved back to Swainsboro.

I saw the announcement about your dad and wanted to let you know that I am very sorry for the loss of your father. I know that you loved him very, very much when we worked together and I am sure you still do!

Anyway, God Bless You and your family during this time of loss! He will always be in your heart!

Ricky and I were so saddened to learn of Uncle Buddy's passing! He was so loved and such a wonderful man! We are praying for comfort for All as only Jesus can give. I saw this poem and it reminded me of him.

Gone Fishing
By Dalmar Pepper
I’ve finished life’s chores assigned to me,
So put me on a boat headed out to sea.
Please send along my fishing pole
For I’ve been invited to the fishin’ hole.
Where every day is a day to fish,
To fill your heart with every wish.
Don’t worry, or feel sad for me,
I’m fishin’ with the Master of the sea.
We will miss each other for awhile,
But you will come and bring your smile.
That won’t be long you will see,
Till we’re together you and me.
To all of those that think of me,
Be happy as I go out to sea.
If others wonder why I’m missin’
Just tell ‘em I’ve gone fishin’

MaryAnn:
So sorry for your loss. I met your Dad a couple of times in High School and reacquainted in Savannah in late 70's. He was a great man. Remember all the good times.

So very sorry for the news that Jimmy has been called to a much better place. I know that sorrow is normal at this time, but God can ease much of it if you ask Him.. GOD BLESS ALL THE FAMILY. Love you all. Sincerely Glenn
