Mrs. Debra Ann Conley Diaz, 53, of Swainsboro passed away Saturday afternoon, April 8, 2017, at the Emanuel Medical Center following a brief illness.
Mrs. Diaz was born in Swainsboro, August 1, 1963 to William Conley and Inez Riner Conley. She is preceded in death by her father, William Conley. Mrs. Diaz was a CNA and worked many years at the Emanuel County Nursing Home. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her mother, Inez Riner (John) Conley of Fayetteville; sons, Terry B. Cox, Jerry (Michelle) Cox, Jr. and Kelvin Diaz all of Swainsboro; sisters, Barbara Conley, Shelia Wheeler, and Melinda (Bobby Jr.) Wilkerson all of Swainsboro; brothers, Bobby (Tammy) Conley of Swainsboro and William Conley, Jr of Hephzibah; grandchildren, Callie Elizabeth Diaz, Joshua Cox, Camren Cox, Brylan Cox, and Caitlyn Cox; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, April 11, 2017 with Reverends Arthur Conley and Alan Meeks officiating.
Interment will be in the Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday afternoon, April 10, 2017 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are B. J. Conley, Tony Cox, Eric Goddard, Timmy Cox, Bobby Wilkerson, Jr., and Michael Roberts.
