Mr. Randall Ray Williams, 65, of Kite passed away Monday evening, January 15, 2018 at AU Medical center in Augusta following and extended illness.
Mr. Williams was born June 30, 1952 in Swainsboro to the late William Ray Williams and Pauline Brantley Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents; Mr. Williams lived in Wadley until 1966 when he moved to Kite, he was part owner of Williams Farms for 30 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, known best for his coyote and hog hunting. Mr. Williams was also known for his Peanut Brittle and Wine making. He was a member of Mintons Chapel Advent Christian Church for 48 years.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Jenny M. Williams of Kite; daughters, Marla Garnto (Colon) of Wrightsville, and Alison Williams of Kite; brother, Joe Williams (Angie) of Swainsboro; sisters, Pam Woods (Jeff) of Kite, Cherry Monroe (Bob) of Darien, and Julia Gifford of Kite; grandchildren, Addison Garnto, Jesse Pebbles, Kylie Garnto, and Eli Peebles; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 18, 2018 with Reverends Martin Heath and Calvin Levitt officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mintons Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are George Gifford, Bradley Williams, Tim Mize, Luke Jones, Danny Fortner, Brent Ross, Burl Page, and Chuck Steptoe.
Honorary Pallbearers are Brandon Page, Allan Frost, Danny Williams, Robert Fountain, Ken Tanner, Andy Brantley, William Brett, Eddie Henry, Randall Greenway, Billy Minton, John Harrison, Jackie Minton, and Members of Cedar Hill Hunting Club.
